CommunicAsia 2011

Happening from June. 21 to 24, this year's CommunicAsia occupies three floors of the Sands Expo and Convention Center at Marina Bay Sands.
A scaffolding parks behind NTT Docomo's two-storey booth. The Japanese telco will be showcasing a variety of technologies including multi-band power amplifiers, augmented reality mobile games and cross-border NFC (near-field communications).
Huawei's booth lets slip that its MediaPad will be running Android 3.2, codenamed Honeycomb, which device manufacturer said is optimized for its tablet.
A stone's throw away from Huawei's booth, ZTE's showfront will likely heat up the rivalry between the two Chinese telecoms equipment makers. None of the products were out on showcase during the pre-show walkabout on Monday.
Research In Motion occupies the largest space in the Canadian pavilion but its Playbook tabletwas not on display during the pre-show.
Here's a peek at some hospitality suites at the show. While Zynga's was not on the list of booths to visit at the pre-show, ZDNet Asia popped in for a quick photo opportunity. This is the first year the social game giant is participating in the tradeshow.
BroadcastAsia is located at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Participants can hop on free shuttle buses plying both locations.
The exhibition at Suntec City extends to the walkway connecting the third and fourth floors. Seen here is The Media Village booth where companies such as Autodesk and Dolby will be showcasing their products.
